Actually a man`s formal muffler, the scarf is a $195 white silk jacquard design from Hermes. A ”queen bee” pattern is woven into the fabric, says Tracey McCann, assistant manager of the Chicago Hermes emporium.
”The one in the movie is a lot longer,” McCann notes. ”They must have sewn two together.”
There has been increased demand for the item, McCann reports, with five or six selling within several days of the movie`s opening in late March.
”Both women and men are buying them,” she says.
