Perhaps it`s the ultimate in pet appreciation. Life magazine reports that Paris is claiming yet another fashion first: canine clipping couture.
The publication says Patricia Madurell, who lives just outside Paris, has been spinning Fido snippings into sweaters since 1987.
The creations cost at least $400 if you bring your own dog`s hair, more if she has to supply it.
Accompanying the story is a photo of Madurell`s niece, Manon, modeling a fuzzy, caramel-colored sweater fashioned from the hair of her dog, Ukemi. Arf.
