Northern Illinois 190-pounder Mel Heckman went 3-0 Friday and Saturday, helping the Huskies win one of three matches to snap a seven-match skid.
Heckman recorded a pin in two minutes in a 31-9 loss to Drake, and had a 52-second pin in NIU`s 42-9 victory over Chicago State. He won by decision in a 29-17 loss to Wisconsin-Stevens Point, a match in which the Huskies were forced to forfeit 12 points.
