”Do something beautiful for yourself and others” is the theme of a new effort by Maybelline to help empower women. For each coupon used to purchase products from the company`s Shades of You cosmetics line for women of color, Maybelline will donate 25 cents to a literacy and life-skills development project administered by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women. The programs target teenage and single mothers. Coupons, good for $1 off any Shades products, can be clipped from Essence and Black Elegance magazines and are available in stores.
