An extraordinary exhibit of bowls, chests, and other ”Containers of Spirit and Substance” has been extended through Jan. 12 at the May Weber Museum of Cultural Arts, 299 E. Ontario St.
Within this exhibit, children 7 to 12 will have the opportunity on Saturday to discover a ”treasure” buried deep in the Indian Ocean.
Young explorers will solve problems of geography and nutrition, and interpret their ”finds,” which will range from African textiles to Indonesian spices.
