In ”The Wizard of Oz,” the Cowardly Lion muses upon what he`d do if he were King of the Forest. Now young women have a chance to detail their plans for the world if they ruled it.
The winner of Sassy magazine`s annual Sassiest Girl in America contest also will appear on the cover and win cash, fashions and jewelry.
”Our Sassiest girl is chosen for her intelligence, wit, social responsibility, creativity and general sassiness,” says Jane Pratt, editor-in-chief.
Contestants must be 13 to 19 and submit a ”list of much-needed additions and improvements to life on this planet,” Pratt says.
The winner gets $5,000, plus an additional $2,500 to donate to a favorite charity. The entry deadline is Aug. 10. Contest rules are in the magazine`s July issue.
