The creators of Sassy magazine for teenage girls are spinning off a new version for boys.
Called Dirt, the new publication is set to debut in September.
”We want it to take a peer tone, a friend-to-friend style,” says publisher Bobbie Halfin.
Similar to its sister, which has blazed trails in talking candidly to girls, Dirt will be a multi-faceted source of information from a young person`s point of view, says Halfin.
”Teens want to know what`s happening in the world, but not necessarily in the way the nightly news or other sources present it.”
