Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Those ardent fans looking for a way to keep a piece of Comiskey Park without appropriating a seat with a quick kick have another recourse.
The White Sox will hold a public auction on seats, bricks and whatever else they can salvage from Comiskey, at a date to be announced at season`s end.
”We don`t know exactly what will be available because the ballpark is so old,” said the Sox`s Bob Grim. ”But everything we save will be put in a warehouse until we hold the auction. People will be able to get souvenirs.”
Proceeds will go to charity.
