The following is a list of those killed in the Tuesday storm that battered Will County. Services are included where funeral arrangements have been made.

FRANK RIFFEL

ALIDA RIFFEL

Mr. Riffel, 68, and Mrs. Riffel, 67, were active in the Cantigny Post 367 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars where he was junior vice commander and she was the post`s banner bearer. The couple had been busy planning for the post`s annual Labor Day dinner. They are survived by three sons, Roy, Donald and Marc ; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag funeral home, Joliet. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Joliet.

VIRGINIA LYDON

A Joliet homemaker, she was a 1980 graduate of Addison Trail High School. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. on Friday in the Humes Funeral Home, Addison. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Wood Dale. Mrs. Lydon, 28, is survived by her husband, Paul; two daughters, Kati Lynne and Heather Teresa; her parents, Edward and Lynne O`Brien; three sisters; and a brother.

JAMES NICCUM

A 26-year-old Plainfield auto mechanic, he is survived by his mother, Pearl Hoffman; and three brothers. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Goodale Funeral Home, Lockport. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

ALICE J. JOHNSON

Ms. Johnson, 30, was a painter in the construction trade and lived in the Maxwell Street neighborhood of Chicago. Funeral arrangements were pending with the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag funeral home, Joliet.

BRIAN STROHM

Brian, 12, was a 7th grade student in Troy Junior High School in Shorewood. He is survived by his father, Paul; his mother Jenise; his stepmother, Melody; and a sister, Theresa. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Fred Dames Funeral Home, Joliet. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel.

PATRICIA A. SKOIEN

She was a volunteer teacher`s aide at Crystal Lawns Elementary School. Mrs. Skoien, 55, had been a crossing guard in Plainfield from 1977 until 1982 and a life member of the Crystal Lawns PTA. Mrs. Skoien is survived by her husband, Harold; two sons, Anthony and Kevin; two sisters; and two brothers. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Fred Dames Funeral Home, Joliet. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John Catholic Church, Joliet.

SISTER MARY KEENAN

Sister Keenan, 47, had been a member of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary for 26 years. She was the principal of St. Mary Immaculate School in Plainfield. Sister Keenan is survived by her parents, Eleanore and John Keenan, and two brothers. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag funeral home, Joliet. Mass will be said at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Joliet.

PHOUMY SENEPHIMMACHAC

A native of Laos, Ms. Senephimmachac, 36, was a schoolteacher there. She came to the United States in 1976. She worked as an assembler at Bali Blinds Co. in Montgomery. A Joliet resident, she is survived by her husband, Brian;

two daughters, Kathy and Judy; a son, Scotty; her father; and five brothers. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Fred Dames Funeral Home, Joliet. Services will be held there at noon Saturday.

RYAN GLASER

Ryan, 15, was to enter Plainfield High School this week as a junior. He previously attended Joliet Catholic High School, where he was a band member. Ryan, a Joliet native, was a Life Scout in the Boy Scouts and served in the music ministry of St. Mary Immaculate Church. Survivors include his parents, John and Eileen Glaser; a brother, Joshua; two sisters, Colleen and Teresa;

and his grandparents, Grace Long, Cecil and Margaret Eisenberg, and Richard and Arlene Glaser. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Naperville.

LATICIA HERROD

TITIANIA BROWN

Ms. Harrod, 17, graduated in June from Joliet Central High School. She worked at the McDonald`s restaurant in Lockport. Visitation for Ms. Herrod and her 27-day-old daughter, Titiania Brown, will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Range Funeral Home, Joliet. Ms. Herrod is survived by her parents, Justina and William Herrod; and a stepbrother. Services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul`s Missionary Baptist Church, Joliet.

GLORIA SANCHEZ

A resident of the Northwest Side of Chicago, Ms. Sanchez was a music teacher at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic School in Plainfield. Ms. Sanchez, 28, attended the Northwestern University School of Music before entering the Monastery of the Sisters of Poor Clair for four years. She was a recent graduate of Rosary College. She is survived by her parents, Dr. Ramon and Jane Sanchez; and five brothers. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Hallowell and James Funeral Home, Countryside. Mass will be said at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Western Springs.

STEPHEN P. HUNT

A resident of Naperville, Mr. Hunt had taught science at Plainfield High School for 13 years and coached the boys track team. Born in Dublin, Ireland, Mr. Hunt, 43, previously had taught high school in Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Adele, who also teaches at the high school; a daughter, Elizabeth; a son, Conor; his father, Stephen; and three brothers. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. in Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, Naperville. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Raphael Catholic Church, Naperville.

JANIS GRANAT

A native of the Oakbrook Terrace area, Mrs. Granat, 27, had moved to her Joliet home only three weeks ago. She attended Trinity College for a year and worked for a time at a store in Lombard. She is survived by her husband, Larry; a daughter, Brittany; a son, Mitchel; her parents, John and Ellen Cook; four sisters; and a brother. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Trinity Luthern Church, 1101 Kimberly Way, Lisle.

CHARLES LIKES

Mr. Likes, 37, was a resident of Joliet. Funeral services were pending at Tezak Funeral Home, Joliet.

Mr. Lee, 24, was a temporary worker at the Seven-Up Bottling Co. in Joliet. Services for Mr. Lee, which are pending, will be held in Vicksburg, Miss.

Mrs. Egizio, 38, a registered nurse who worked at Palos Community Hospital, was killed along with her daughter, Leslie, 4, and her son, Thomas, 14, when the tornado destroyed their Joliet home. Thomas was about to enter his sophomore year at Joliet Catholic High School. Mrs. Egizio is survived by her husband, Angelo; a son, James; her parents, Homer and Eunice Workman; and a sister. Visitation will be Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Westwood Funeral Home, Joliet. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church, Joliet.

HOWARD L. HAWES JR.

A construction foreman and resident of Plainfield, Mr. Hawes, 47, was a member of the Joliet Moose Lodge and the Old Timers Baseball Association. He also was an usher at St. Mary Immaculate Church. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Christine Harper and Susan; a son, Edward; and his mother, Margaret. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Overman-Jones Funeral Home, Plainfield. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Andrew Catholic Church, Romeoville.

HENRY BERGQUIST

Mr. Bergquist was a part-time custodian at Plainfield High School for the last 10 years and was a retired printer for R.R. Donnelley and Sons Co. in Chicago, where he worked for 40 years. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and attended Peace Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Rose; a son, Henry; a daughter, Diane Terry; a brother; two sisters; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Toon Funeral Home, Downers Grove, and at 9 a.m. Saturday before the 10 a.m. services in Peace Lutheran Church, Plainfield.

JAMES M. PULLEN

A construction worker, Mr. Pullen, 32, was a Army veteran and a member of the Ridgewood Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Vickie; two sons, James Jr. and Andrew; two daughters, Rhiannon and Sara; his parents, Mark Pullen and Gloria Rulh; and two sisters. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel.

THOMAS WILLIAM THAYER

Mr. Thayer, 41, of Aurora, was a salesman. He was a captain in the Army Reserve and a coach for an Aurora-area boys baseball team. He is survived by his wife, Paulette; three sons, Thomas, Peter and Andrew; a brother; and a sister. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, Aurora. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Angels Church, Aurora.

PATRICIA COMBS

Ms. Combs, 25, worked part-time as a cosmetologist in the Jefferson Square Shopping Center in Joliet, and was attending Joliet Junior College in preparation for a career as a nurse. She had lived in Crest Hill for the last two years. She is survived by a daughter, Amanda Brewner : a son, Coty Brewner; her father, Stanley; her mother Ginger; a sister; and a brother. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Carlson Funeral Home, Joliet. Services will be held there at 11 a.m.

ERIC WILSON

Eric, 16, of Crest Hill, died Thursday in Christ Hospital and Medical Center, Oak Lawn, of injuries suffered in the tornado. Funeral services are pending.

SARAH MARIE BROWER

Sarah Marie, 3, of Joliet, died Thursday of her injuries in Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood. Funeral services are pending.
