Philadelphia Eagles coach Buddy Ryan stayed on the offensive Tuesday in his ”bounty war” with Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson.

The Eagles meet the Cowboys Sunday in a rematch of their Thanksgiving Day game when Johnson accused Ryan of offering his Eagles a $200 bounty on kicker Luis Zendejas and a $500 bounty on Troy Aikman.

”If you took a vote of the (Dallas) players you`d find out they have more respect for me than Jimmy,” Ryan said.

Ryan wants Johnson to apologize for the charge and for saying Ryan got

”his fat rear end to the dressing room” before Johnson could catch him.

”Please!” Johnson replied Tuesday when asked if he would apologize.

The Cowboys posted a ”Buddy Board” in their locker room with quotes like this one from Ryan: ”I don`t know if Dallas had any players good enough to put a bounty on.”

Ryan said a league investigation of the bounties will force Johnson to apologize. ”I`m sure the league will have him do that before long. This has been a bunch of bull.”

Ryan also said after the first game the Cowboys were ”probably the worst prepared team that I`ve seen in the NFL since I`ve been in it.”
