Another tough assignment awaits the ace troubleshooter on ”MacGyver” at 7 p.m. Wednesday on ABC-Ch. 7. This time MacGyver (Richard Dean Anderson) has to defuse a missile and try to rescue scientists trapped underground following a laboratory explosion.
Assisting him in his rescue attempt is a another scientist who knows about the lab`s deadly security system. Of course, it won`t be easy, particularly when they encounter a sulfuric acid leak along the way. A chocolate candy bar comes in handy for this obstacle.
In the fall, ”MacGyver” will return to scale cliffs and perform other feats of derring-do when the series moves to Monday nights.
