`LOVE BOAT` BACKS INTO RERUNS

`The Love Boat” sails from Saturdays to Fridays with repeats at 9 p.m. starting Friday on ABC-Ch. 7. Even though ABC cancelled the series after nine seasons, devotees of Gopher, Doc, Isaac and the rest of the ”LB” crew probably can count on a summer of reruns.

In Friday`s episode, Isaac (Ted Lange) falls in love with the choreographer (played by Phylicia Rashad) for ”The Love Boat” mermaids while Judy (Patricia Klous) has a romance with a rich man (Gordon Thomson) who has ties with the mob.

Elsewhere on the ship, Gopher (Fred Grandy) tries to settle a laundry strike.
