Val (Joan Van Ark) finds her babies, but she faces a court fight from the adoptive parents on the season premiere of ”Knots Landing” at 9 p.m. Thursday on CBS-Ch. 2. She`ll win them back though, and she and Ben (Douglas Sheehan) eventually will get married. Former husband Gary (Ted Shackelford)
will learn he`s the father after the wedding.
In Thursday`s show, Gary makes plans to attend brother Bobby`s funeral. He`ll show up Friday on ”Dallas.”
In other events this season, two marriages will be strained–those of Joshua (Alec Baldwin) and Cathy (Lisa Hartman) and Mack (Kevin Dobson) and Karen (Michele Lee).
