Know anybody who has a knack for giving great advice but can`t get it together in his or her own life? That`s the premise for ”The Lucie Arnaz Show,” a new half-hour comedy that premieres at 7 p.m. Tuesday on CBS-Ch. 2. Arnaz portrays psychologist/advice columnist Dr. Jane Lucas, who also dishes out witty, articulate, right-on advice via a radio call-in show. Lucas` family and friends want her opinions, too.
In the opener, Lucas` old boyfriend (played by guest star John Getz of
”MacGruder and Loud”) shows up and throws her a curve when he proposes. Of course, she doesn`t know what to do.
Others in the cast include Tony Roberts as the radio station manager, Todd Waring as an outrageous disk jockey, Karen Jablons-Alexander as Lucas`
new wave secretary and Lee Bryant as Lucas` sister.
