Almost 10,000 triathletes participated in this weekend’s Chicago Triathlon. The race, now in its 36th year, took place Sunday with staggered start times. The swim portion of the triathlon was canceled due to “unfavorable swim conditions” on Lake Michigan, forcing athletes to complete a duathlon instead.
