For a second consecutive day, a bank in Naperville was robbed and a suspect fleeing on foot forced the lockdown of several nearby schools.
The suspect went into the BMO Harris Bank at 1795 S. Washington St. about 10:25 a.m. Wednesday, handed the teller a note and a white garbage bag, and then left with cash, an FBI new release said. Once outside, the man jumped a nearby fence and ran into the nearby residential neighborhood.
Described a standing about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 and having a thin to average frame, the man was wearing navy pants, a black hooded jacket, purple gloves and a black face covering, the FBI said. His age was unknown.

Several Naperville District 203 schools were put into lockdown as a precaution, but classes continued as normal. The schools that were affected were Maplebrook, Kingsley and Scott elementary schools and Lincoln Junior High School.
The first robbery this week occurred about 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Fifth-Third Bank on Showplace Drive at 2644 Showplace Drive and the city’s far south side.
In that incident, the man was armed and also fled on foot.
Described as standing about 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10 and weighing 170 to 175 pounds, he was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey pants with black stripes on the side, light-colored shoes, a dark-colored face covering and dark gloves.
Seven Indian Prairie District 204 schools were put in lockdown until police were certain the area was safe.
