Offensive Player of the Week
Junior quarterback Jack Elliott was a machine for Mount Carmel in a 36-33 win over East St. Louis. Elliott threw for 123 yards and a TD and ran for 175 yards and a TD.
Defensive Player of the Week
Junior linebacker Christian Pierce helped Brother Rice shut down Maine South’s high-powered offense in a 10-7 win. Pierce finished with eight tackles, including two for losses.
