Ben Alvarez, Yorkville, sophomore, 220 pounds: Alvarez finished 46-7 and reached quarterfinals of Class 3A state meet. Also won conference and regional titles.

Ben Davino, St. Charles East, sophomore, 120: Pound for pound, ranks among state’s dominant best. Finished 37-1, capturing 3A state title by technical fall. Added conference, regional and sectional titles.

Kaden Fetterolf, Batavia, junior, 138: Went 41-6 and defeated Stevenson’s unbeaten Cole Rhemrev en route to finishing second in 3A. Also won conference, regional and sectional titles.

Ino Garcia, Batavia, sophomore, 106: Went 42-6 and finished fourth in 3A. Earned tournament titles at Glenbrook South and Granite City before winning conference, regional and sectional championships.

Jameson Garcia, Marmion, junior, 113: Finished 33-4 and won 3A state championship. Went undefeated against Illinois competition.

Tyler Guerra, St. Charles East, sophomore, 132: Went 32-6 and finished third in 3A. Won individual championship at Illini Classic before taking conference, regional and sectional titles.

Jackson Gillen, Yorkville Christian, junior, 170: Finished 49-6. Pulled off rare double, winning 1A individual state title and leading Mustangs to 1A dual team state championship.

Jack Lesher, Marmion, sophomore, 182: Finished fourth in 3A and also won conference, regional and sectional titles. Ended up 41-6.

Natasha Markoutsis, Yorkville, senior, 125: Made history as program’s first girls state champion. Finished 30-1.

Ethan Olson, Naperville Central, junior, 126: Went 27-9 and qualified for 3A state. Won tournament at Hoffman Estates. Also took first in conference and regional.

Sydney Perry, Batavia, sophomore, 145: Finished undefeated at 21-0. Pin over West Aurora’s Dyani Rivera made her first girls state champion.

Tyler Perry, Marmion, senior, 170: State runner-up in 3A. Finished 40-4. Also won tournaments at Barrington and Crown Point, Indiana, to go with regional and sectional titles. Sydney is his sister.

Shea Reisel, Somonauk co-op, senior, 110: Won state championship in inaugural girls state meet. Finished 23-4, including 16-4 against boys. Named MVP at Plano and Seneca tournaments.

Braden Stauffenberg, Aurora Christian, senior, 152: Went 40-4 and won 2A state title. Also won conference and sectional titles. Gave only loss to Conant’s Ethan Stiles, state champion in 3A.

Antonio Torres, Waubonsie Valley, senior, 160: Earned third career state medal by finishing fourth in 3A. Went 32-3. Also won conference and regional titles.

Nate Wenstrom, Aurora Christian, senior, 195: Defeated Washington’s top-rated Donnie Hidden for 2A state championship. Finished 37-5. Also won conference and regional titles. Took tournament title at Barrington.
