Illinois and Loyola will play for a spot in the Sweet 16 at 11:10 a.m. Sunday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The much-anticipated matchup between the Illini, the Big Ten Tournament champions and top-seed in the Midwest Region, and the eighth-seeded Ramblers, the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season and tournament champs, will kick off Sunday’s slate of games on CBS and three other channels.

It will air on CBS-2 and be the only game televised in that time slot. The Illinois-Loyola game will be followed by Wisconsin-Baylor at 1:40 p.m. on CBS-2 from Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Syracuse takes on West Virginia at 4:15 p.m., also on CBS-2, and the final five second-round games will start about an hour apart, beginning with Texas-Tech-Arkansas at 5:10 p.m.

The final eight games of the second round will be Monday at times and venues to be announced Saturday night.

The NCAA waited until the first-round games were completed late Friday to announce the game times, venues and television outlets for Sunday’s second-round games and moved teams from their first-round sites so neither team has an advantage.

Illinois is a seven-point favorite over the Ramblers, though gamblers are not allowed to bet on in-state colleges and universities because of laws put in place when legalization of sports wagering was approved.
