Ryan Pace will be overseeing his seventh draft as the Chicago Bears general manager this weekend, adding to a list of 39 players he has selected since 2015. Pace hasn’t had a first-round pick since 2018 — the byproduct of his blockbuster trade with the Oakland Raiders to acquire Khalil Mack on Labor Day weekend of 2018. And when Pace has selected in the first round during his first four drafts, he never made a selection outside the top 10, drafting Kevin White (No. 7) in 2015, Leonard Floyd (No. 9) in 2016, Mitch Trubisky (No. 2) in 2017 and Roquan Smith (No. 8) in 2018.

This year, the Bears’ first selection is slated to come at No. 20. But there’s widespread curiosity as to whether Pace may again make a bold leap up the draft board, something he has shown he is not afraid to do. During his first six drafts, Pace has made 11 trades on draft weekend, trading up seven times and moving back on the board on four other occasions.

As this week’s draft closes in, here’s a look at all 11 of Pace’s draft-weekend deals.
