Things to avoid when shopping for big-ticket items
Although many big-ticket items may appear to be good bargains at face value, it’s crucial to consider the maintenance costs. Maintenance costs for machinery, pools and power tools can be costly in the long run. You also don’t want to buy a product based solely on how big the discount is because it can indicate that it’s overpriced, which can, in turn, suggest that it’s not worth buying even at its discounted price. Also, be sure to check return policies and warranties in detail before purchasing so you have peace of mind should anything go wrong with your product once you get it.
Alternatives to consider if you miss Prime Big Deal Days deals
If you end up missing out on Prime Big Deal Days deals, you can always check out other retailers to see if they’re running any sales. Amazon also runs multiple big sales events throughout the year. We recommend making a wish list of your most wanted items and monitoring the prices even after Prime Day. Also, you don’t have to wait for a sales event to score savings on big-ticket items. Amazon frequently offers deep discounts on popular products, so even if you miss out on Prime Big Deal Days, you might get lucky by checking Amazon’s deals page now and then.
