The circus will go on, and the drama under the Spiegeltent continues. Teatro ZinZanni will return to the Cambria Hotel in the Loop this fall, according to an announcement Wednesday.

This follows news last month that the current dinner-and-cirque production Cabaret ZaZou was closing, playing its last performance on July 2. That show, produced by Chicago-based Randolph Entertainment, had been running since September 2022, when it took over the space itself from Teatro ZinZanni.

According to the announcement, the coming show will be a joint production, created by a merger between Randolph Entertainment and the Seattle-based Teatro ZinZanni, which first came to Chicago in 2019. It will be led by ZinZanni founder and creative director Norm Langill.

More information, including about the cast and opening dates, will come at a later date.
