Windy City Smokeout has announced dates and headline music acts for the 2022 music festival in Chicago.
The Smokeout, a long weekend of country music and barbecue, played last July as the first of 2021’s season of outdoor music festivals in Chicago. In 2022, it will return to the United Center parking lot for four days, from Thursday, Aug. 4 to Sunday, Aug. 7. Music acts will include Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Willie Nelson and Family. The even will be hosted by barbecue joint Bub City and Joe’s Bar.

Four-day general admission passes ($139), includes live music acts, food concessions, cashless wristband, Thursday and Friday happy hours, cashless wristband, free entry for children 10 and under, in-and-out privileges.
Four-day VIP ($899), adds elevated and covered viewing area, mobile charging stations, air-conditioned bathrooms and access to private cash bars.
Four-day Super VIP ($1,750, new this year), with climate-controlled upper deck and private viewing areas; mobile charging stations; concierge services; VIP parking access with golf cart service; air-conditioned bathrooms; complimentary beer, wine and cocktails; lunch and dinner service in private dining areas as well as late-night snacks and dessert service.
