The Chicago Children’s Choir has decided to cancel its upcoming World Music Festival due to coronavirus concerns, according to an announcement from the group Tuesday.
The festival, planned for 3:30 p.m. Saturday at UIC Forum (725 W. Roosevelt Road), was to have been a public concert and student workshop. Citing “an abundance of caution,” the choir also has canceled its upcoming the Allegro Connection Day on March 21 and an open rehearsal March 25; more information at ccchoir.org.
