“The Handmaid’s Tale” star Elisabeth Moss said she acted like a fool when she met Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo last month at Wrigley Field.

“I totally acted like an (expletive) idiot. Like, I clammed up. I didn’t know what to say. Yeah, it was terribly awkward,” Moss said Thursday on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

Moss, who said she is a fourth-generation Cubs fan, met the “dreamy” Rizzo near the dugout before the Cubs-Blue Jays game Aug. 18. She later sang the seventh-inning stretch.

“Ohmigod, I was so terrified. I was so scared,” Moss said Thursday on “The View” after her singing clip was shown.

The new installment of “Top of the Lake: China Girl,” which stars Moss, is scheduled to air at 8 p.m. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday on the Sundance channel. She is also Emmy-nominated for her work on “The Handmaid’s Tale,” a Hulu series. Her publicist alerted her to the news with a shirtless Rizzo GIF. The Emmy winners are set to be announced Sept. 17 on CBS.
