Cobblestone European Bistro and Cider House reopens in North Center.
Cobblestone European Bistro and Cider House reopens in North Center.

Cobblestone European Bistro and Cider House. This North Center restaurant opened quietly in late February, in the space of the former The Northman, only to be closed by the shutdown two weeks later. But it now makes its grand opening (re-opening?) Friday. Created by owner Markus Chwajol (founder of Bohemian House, which had a successful run in River North), it features chefs Reggie Wilbon and Ian Shuster. Cobblestone, like Bohemian House, focuses on contemporary European cuisine, abetted by a beverage program that includes 50 ciders and 50 beers, local and imported. 4337 N. Lincoln Ave., 773-935-2255, cobblestone-chicago.com

Superkhana International reopens for daytime carryout Friday (the takeout window offers bagels, breakfast sandwiches and beverages, closing mid-afternoon), with plans to remain open until 7 p.m. beginning next week.
