District U-46 construction may push back start of 2026-27 school year

District U-46 could be starting the 2026-27 school year more than two weeks later than normal due to the huge amount of construction expected to be underway that summer.

These are eight of the 13 students from Larkin High School in Elgin recognized for being the top academically in their school by District U-46 and its school board. (School District U-46)
