"Numbers in Nature" at the Museum of Science and Industry Examine the hexagonal designs of every snowflake in a scientific light at the MSI's new exhibit, which connects mathematical concepts to the concrete world in a fun way. But let's not kid ourselves that everyone will stand in contemplation instead of racing to the exhibit's centerpiece: a 1,800-square-foot mirror maze. Can you navigate away from the dead ends and find the secret room within? Can you do it without hitting a wall? Probably not. Daily at the Museum of Science and Industry, 5700 S. Lake Shore Drive (773-684-1414, msichicago.org). $18, $11 for kids 3-11 (price includes general museum admission).
