County politics reporter for the Los Angeles Daily News, Linh Tat writes about state and federal lawmakers who represent the county, as well as legislation and other issues relevant to Angelenos. Prior to that, she covered the L.A. Unified School District and L.A. City Hall beats for the paper. Linh previously worked in the San Francisco Bay Area and on the East Coast, where she was a K-12 and higher education reporter for POLITICO New Jersey. A graduate of UCLA, Linh returned to her home state of California in 2019.
