The $72.5 million tentative 2016-2017 budget for Wilmette Public Schools District 39 is now on official public display, after school board members approved its publication at their May 23 meeting....

Wilmette has told Loyola Academy to provide a plan to cut enrollment to 2,000 or ask for a change to its 1993 enrollment cap requirement. Opponents of the school's plan to build two new parking lots raised the possibilty of the cap violation earlier this year.
