Armed, masked federal immigration agents detained one man and chased another through a residential neighborhood in unincorporated Northbrook on Monday, according to witnesses.

Zoe Dillon, right, and Claire Chapman, students at New Trier High School in Winnetka, said the school has limited their ability to volunteer in Chicago with immigrants and refugees. They said they understand the school is concerned for their safety in the face of federal immigration agents detaining people, but expressed concern for the immigrants with whom they were developing relationships.
