The Jose Gaspar, tall ship, is surrounded by a flotilla making its way down the channel towards the Tampa Convention Center, Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, in Tampa, Fla., during the 2005 Gasparilla Pirate Fest. The festival is named after the legendary pirate Jose Gaspar, "last of the Buccaneers," who terrorized the coastal waters of West Florida during the late 18th and early 19th century.
