1, Marist 17-2 (1): Ariella Link and the RedHawks respond to being bounced out of the AVCA/USA Today national rankings with four-game road win over No. 5 Carroll of Fort Wayne Indiana.

2. Mother McAuley 17-3 (2): The Mighty Macs and Chyla Jukes pick up No. 15 ranking in the nation by AVCA/USA Today, then lose to Benet and beat Downers Grove North.

3. Lockport 16-4 (4): Olivia Priest and the Porters put themselves in a nice position to take SouthWest Suburban Conference title with 21-25, 31-29, 25-15 win over Lincoln-Way East.

4. Lincoln-Way East 11-4 (3): Illinois recruit Kolby Ross and the Griffins are ready to play state and national powerhouses in the ASICS Tournament over the weekend at Mother McAuley.

5. St. Laurence 19-4 (5): Clancey Bowen and the Vikings head into this week with a 15-match winning streak, including an impressive 25-17, 25-23 GCAC Red victory at Loyola.

6. Joliet Catholic 10-6 (7): East Carolina recruit Ella Godeaux and the Angels bring a six-match winning streak into showdown road match at McAuley and then at the ASICS Tournament.

7. Lincoln-Way Central 15-9 (9): Sophomores Tessa Garcia and Leah Freiberg have combined to serve 55 aces so far this fall for the Knights.

8. Lemont 15-8 (10): Sophomore setter Maggie Kula, who enters the week with 307 assists, is also second on the team with 120 digs and 26 aces.

9. Lincoln-Way West 9-9 (NR): Cailyn Smith and the Warriors are starting to find their groove after a 4-8 start to the regular season. District rivals are up next on the schedule.

10. Providence 16-4 (8): Olivia Healy has a lot of weapons to choose from and she chooses wisely for the Celtics. The junior setter heads into the week with 422 assists.

Player of the Week

Michigan-bound senior outside hitter Maggie Kurpeikis comes up with 16 kills and seven blocks for Marist in a 25-18, 29-27, 22-25, 25-14 win over Carroll, snapping Chargers’ 71-match win streak.
