Fear and the Salem Witch Trials
95th Street Library, 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15 — In 1692, fear swept through Salem when a group of young girls accused members of their community of witchcraft. What followed was one of the most infamous periods in American history. This lecture separates fact from fiction and explores how panic and suspicion turned a local crisis into a tragedy that continues to captivate us today.

95th Street Library, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17 — Discover the wonder of play with exciting hands-on activities and on-site exhibits provided by Naper Settlement, DuPage Children’s Museum, Knoch Knolls Nature Center and Naperville Public Library. This season’s theme is “Fall Harvest.”
Outdoor Halloween Storytime
