Bridgeview

RECKLESS DRIVING: Imadeddin I. Souqy Jr., is scheduled to appear in Cook County court at Bridgeview Oct. 15, charged with reckless driving, police said. Souqy was arrested Aug. 29 in the 8700 block of Harlem Avenue with the aid of mass surveillance cameras after performing 360-degree burnouts in the 8900 block of Octavia Avenue, police said.

RECKLESS DRIVING: Sief A. Al Yasjein, 27, 16500 block of Crescent Avenue, Tinley Park, is scheduled to appear in Cook County court at Bridgeview Oct. 19, charged with reckless driving in connection with an officer witnessing him performing 360-degree burnouts in the intersection of 84th Place and Harlem Avenue on Aug. 30, police said.

Burbank

SEX SOLICITATION: Ping Liu, 44, Chicago, was arrested Aug. 17 and subsequently charged with soliciting a sexual act after an encounter with an undercover officer posing as a customer at Hong Spa, 7111 79th St., where she was employed, police said.

BURGLARY ATTEMPT: Two males wearing all black clothing and face coverings and wielding sledge hammers unsuccessfully tried to smash smash the glass front door at Paradise Pizza, 5740 87th St., early Aug. 29, police said.

Crete

ATM ROBBERY: Several masked individuals wielding sledge hammers and crowbars Sept. 2 entered the open and occupied Lacey’s Place, 1028 E. Steger Road, pried open the ATM and departed with the contents, police said.

Evergreen Park

E-BIKE THEFT: An electric bike valued at $700 was reported taken Aug. 23 from outside a grocery store in the 3200 block of 87th Street, police said.

GUN POSSESSION: Enshante N. Taylor, 37, 500 block of West 144th Street, Riverdale, was arrested Aug. 28 and subsequently charged with possession of a firearm with a revoked gun permit after officers recovered a 9 mm handgun with a loaded magazine inserted, determined she lacked a concealed carry license and confirmed her gun permit was revoked during a stop in the 9400 block of California Avenue, police said.

AGGRAVATED SPEEDING: Michael J. Lewis, 39, Chicago, was arrested Aug. 29 and subsequently charged with aggravated speeding/35 mph+ and fleeing/eluding after an officer paced him at 79 mph in a 30 mph zone and pursued him on Kedzie Avenue from 79th street to 87th street, police said.

Homer Glen

AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Gregory S. Zieba, 30, 14000 block of Rado Drive West was arraigned in Will County court Sept. 2, charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer. Zieba punched a sheriff’s deputy in the head May 16 in that block, sheriff’s police said.

New Lenox

IDENTITY THEFT: Michael R. Jallick, 51, Wheaton, is scheduled to appear in Will County court Oct. 21, charged with identity theft, theft/value $2,000+, theft/$500+ and unlawful possession of a credit/debit card, according to court records online. Jallick used a credit card taken from an unattended wallet at a business March 26 to pay a $2,199 personal debt, police said.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Dennis J. Eberhart, 62, 100 block of Norway Drive, Manteno, was indicted Aug. 27 in Will County court on a charge of aggravated battery to a nurse, according to court records online. Eberhart touched and rubbed a Silver Cross Hospital employee on Sept. 24, police said.

Oak Lawn

RECKLESS DISCHARGE: Thomas E. Bruinius, 58, 10500 block of Laramie Avenue, Oak Lawn, was arrested July 23 and subsequently charged with reckless discharge of a firearm after shooting a .45 caliber bullet into the ground in that block, police said.

GUN POSSESSION: Capriest C. Gardner, 33, 1400 block of Lawrence Crescent, Flossmoor, was arrested July 27 and subsequently charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon after an officer recovered a 9 mm pistol with a loaded magazine inserted during a stop in the 4700 block of 101st Street and determined Gardner lacked a concealed carry license, police said.

PUBLIC INDECENCY: John R. Schlosser, 49, Oak Lawn, was charged Aug. 27 with public indecency within 500 feet of an elementary school, police said. The felony charge stems from Schlosser exposing himself to a motorist Aug. 25 in the parking lot of an elementary school in the 9800 block of South Tripp Avenue, police said.

PUBLIC INDECENCY: Christian A. Mayen, 29, 9700 block of 52nd Avenue, Oak Lawn, was scheduled to appear in Cook County court Sept. 16, charged with public indecency, obstructing and two counts of disorderly conduct stemming from walking naked past Wolfe Wildlife Park on Aug. 12 and initially refusing to identify himself to arresting officers, police said.

SLOTS BURGLARY: Oak Lawn police confirmed Sept. 14 that Stella’s Place, 8759 S. Ridgeland Ave., was broken into early July 14 by three masked and hooded males who used sledge hammers to smash the front glass door and heavily damage 15 of the 16 video slot machines in 4 minutes before exiting with several cash boxes.

Orland Park

GUN POSSESSION: Deante A. Hunter, 27, Plainfield, was arrested Aug. 1 in the 15400 block of 94th Street and subsequently charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon after officers recovered a pistol with a loaded magazine inserted, police said. Hunter was also charged with motor vehicle burglary, police said.

DUI CRASH: Joshua Tuman, 25, 9400 block of 141st Street, Orland Park, was arrested Aug. 2 during a two-vehicle crash investigation at 143rd Street and John Humphrey Drive and subsequently charged with drunken driving and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision, police said.

GUN POSSESSION: Martell M. Robinson, 24, 17900 block of Vista Drive, Country Club Hills, was arrested Aug. 6 during a stop in the 16700 block of LaGrange Road and subsequently charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon after an officer recovered a 9 mm pistol with a loaded magazine inserted and determined he lacked a concealed carry license, police said.

Palos Heights

AGGRAVATED DUI: Sean McIntyre, 37, 16700 block of Orchard Ridge Avenue, Hazel Crest, was arrested Sept. 5 and subsequently charged with aggravated drunken driving during a crash investigation in the 12800 block of Harlem Avenue after an officer determined he was intoxicated and driving on a license suspended for drunken driving, police said.

Park Forest

AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Keswan P. Hawkins, 34, first block of Arbor Trail, Park Forest, is scheduled to appear in Will County Court Sept. 28, charged with aggravated domestic battery/strangulation, according to court records online.

Peotone

SLOTS RIPOFF: Five masked and gloved individuals took less than 3 minutes to enter the Peotone Travel Center, 601 S 88th Ave., damage six video slot machines, take money from cash boxes and flee in two vehicles without registration plates early Sept. 3, police said.

South Chicago Heights

SLOTS BURGLARY: Four video slot machines were broken into and an undisclosed amount of cash removed early Sept. 9 from the 3 Monkeys Bar, 2826 Chicago Road, by individuals who used sledge hammers to smash through the glass front door, police said.
