While the U.S. ultimately lost their match against Turkey 3-2, another opportunity to cheer on Team USA was planned for Wednesday, July 1 at 7 p.m. at Robert Crown, 1801 Main St., Evanston, as the U.S. competes against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Free popcorn and ice cream from Northwestern University are planned to be available for watchers until supplies last, and hot dogs, burgers, snacks and beverages were also to be available for purchase.
Planners said that if the turf fields at Robert Crown were to get too hot on Wednesday, the event was to be moved to Tallmadge Park, 927 Noyes St., Evanston. Find details at https://planitpurple.northwestern.edu/event/643003
