Several CTA train lines experiencing weather-related delays

The CTA temporarily suspended Pink Line service between Polk and The Loop due to signal outages near the Ashland station.

As a result Pink Line trains are currently operating between 54th/Cermack and Polk, then diverted to the Racine stop on the Blue Line for service to downtown. On its website, the CTA does not indicate how long the outage is expected to last.

Green Line trains are also experiencing delays due to the Ashland outage, while Orange Line trains are continuing to operate with significant delays related to “extreme weather.”

According to the CTA, delays related to an earlier obstruction at the Jarvis stop may be impacting both Red and Purple Line trains.
