7. Sandburg 4-0 (NR): Senior lefty Aidan Barrera, a South Suburban College recruit, strikes out six over five shutout innings in an 8-0 win over Richards.

8. Lemont 3-1 (8): SIU-Edwardsville commit Brett Tucker shines in a 15-4 win over Lincoln-Way Central, going 3-for-4 with a homer, three runs and three RBIs.

9. Lockport 2-4 (4): Adam Kozak and the Porters have a big week ahead with games against Brother Rice and St. Laurence, plus the WJOL Tournament.

10. St. Rita 3-0 (NR): Senior catcher Colin Quinn, a Heartland recruit, delivers a walk-off RBI single in the eighth inning as the Mustangs edge Marist 7-6.
