ARMED ROBBERY: A person brandishing a handgun with a silver slide and black grip repeatedly threatened to kill a clerk at 7-Eleven, 5560 87th St., at 3:05 a.m. Nov. 7, police said. The person forced the clerk behind the counter before exiting with a cash tray from the register, police said.
AGGRAVATED DUI: A Lansing man was charged Oct. 23 with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, police said. Officers took Kenneth D. Golladay, 55, 18300 block of Torrence Avenue, into custody at 9:30 a.m. at 81st Street and Harlem Avenue when he failed a field-sobriety test after making an “abrupt” turn into a fast-food restaurant parking lot, police said.
Evergreen Park
ILLEGAL WEAPON: Jeremiah A. Mansfield, 31, Chicago, was arrested and accused of unlawfully using a weapon Oct. 23 at Starbucks, 9564 Western Ave., and Oct. 27 outside Circle K, 10258 Kedzie Ave., after visiting the businesses with a machete, police said.
BURGLARY: Shoes and other merchandise collectively selling for $5,000 were reported stolen Oct. 24 from Snipes, 9518 Western Ave., which sustained two shattered windows during the break-in.
ARMED ROBBERY: A man brandishing a handgun attempted to rob the Scott Credit Union branch, 9059 Kedzie Ave., Oct. 25 but fled before officers arrived, police said. The FBI has taken charge of the investigation.
PERSON SHOT: An individual was treated Nov. 5 at OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center for a gunshot wound to the hand acquired while exiting the Meijer Express Gas Station, 9202 Western Ave. The victim didn’t know the assailants, police said.

DUI CRASH: Marjorie Wojak, 79, undisclosed address, Frankfort, is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 28 on charges of drunken driving with a blood-alcohol concentration above the legal limit and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision, according to Will County circuit court records online. Wojak was arrested Oct. 12 at La Grange Road and Gateway Drive, sheriff’s police said.

SHOTS FIRED: Police found no immediate threat or involved subjects while investigating an 8:10 p.m. Oct. 29 shooting in the 17500 block of Dixie Highway, terming the event an isolated incident. Investigators located several shell casings in the area, police said.
Lockport
SOLICITING CHARGE: Raymond R. Peterson, 56, 1100 block of Division Street, is scheduled to appear at a preliminary hearing Monday on charges of indecent solicitation/aggravated criminal sexual abuse, traveling to meet a minor and indecent solicitation of a child over the Internet, according to Will County circuit court records online. The charge stems from Oct. 26, court records show. Illinois State Police booked Peterson into the Will County jail Oct. 26.
Lockport Township
BURGLARY ATTEMPT: Security video at Rinks Gun Shop, 14363 Archer Ave., shows two people exiting a vehicle shortly before 7:40 p.m. Oct. 14 and using a hand drill in an attempt to disable the store’s door handle and deadbolt locks.
Monee
WARRANT ARREST: A Steger man charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon was taken into custody Monday on a warrant for failing to appear in court, according to police and Will County circuit court records online. Geavontae T. Brown, 23, 3100 block of Butler Avenue, had a loaded handgun during an Oct. 14 traffic stop in Steger, according to police and court records online. Arresting officers determined Brown lacked a Firearm Owner’s Identification and a concealed carry license at the time, police said.
New Lenox
CARJACKING: Terrell L. Logue, 18, Chicago, is scheduled to appear at a Nov. 13 preliminary hearing on three counts of aggravated vehicular hijacking and four counts of armed robbery of a 71-year-old ride-share driver in New Lenox by three males June 20, according to police and Will County court records online. Logue’s arrest comes four months after the June 23 arrest of Timothy J. Gaines, 19, Chicago, and a 17-year-old. Gaines is also charged with three counts of aggravated vehicular hijacking and four counts of armed robbery.
CONSTRUCTION THEFTS: Building materials worth $4,000 were reported stolen Oct. 26 from a job site in the 2000 block of Calistoga Drive. One week later and 2 miles away, a resident of the 200 block of Circlegate Drive reported seeing a front-end loader motoring in the street at 6:56 a.m. Officers found the abandoned construction vehicle in a nearby wooded area.
