An Aurora man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison in exchange for a guilty plea to the offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, officials said.
Martin Zaca, 48, of the 100 block of North Smith Street, was charged with sexually abusing a victim he knew who was younger than 13 years old between January 2005 and December 2011, Kane County prosecutors said in a news release.
In addition to the prison term, Zaca must register for life as a sexual offender. He receives credit for 504 days served in the Kane County jail.
